PDF Images and NSSharingService

  • Subject: PDF Images and NSSharingService

Hi all,

I'm just wondering whether anyone has much experience of using NSSharingService yet?

I'm using the NSSharingServicePicker to pretty much handle everything, and my data consists of an NSImage initialised using PDF data I generate. I haven't tested actual connection to an external service yet, and my question is, do I need to test with every service, or can I take it as read that if it works with one it'll work with all?

I assume that each sharing service has been implemented internally to use the published APIs of the service transparently with all the supported data types so it should "just work", but my concern is that as I'm using PDF data maybe some services won't accept PDF data. Will the image be converted to a supported form as needed, or do I have to provide all possible representations myself?
