This notification gives no context. You have to guess which WebHistoryItem changed and how. Or do what I did and give up; I always read the most recent item’s title and copy said title to the corresponding menu item. None of the initial programmers at Apple noticed this? Hopefully, Yosemite has a substitute notification.

Has someone filed this as a bug? (I’m too tired right now.)
