Memory issue with ALAssetLibrary

  • Subject: Memory issue with ALAssetLibrary

When I use *ALAssetLibrary:assetForURL:resultBlock:failtureBlock *to
retrieve full screen images from camera roll, the allocated memory never
release until the app enters the background. My guess is the system keeps
the cache for the images somewhere.

Is there anyway to force the system to release these memory?
While the app is entering the background, what kind of memory does the
system automatically release?

Thanks,
Peng
