Drop on a NSCollectionView

Can¹t seem to get this to work. I have a collection view in a popover
(dismissed with a ³close² button) launched from a sheet. Delegate is set to
controller which declares NSCollectionViewDelegate, implements the validate
and accept drop protocols. Collection view (not the enclosing scroll view)
is registered for NSImage imageTypes. (Also tried the other NSImage types.)
I try to drag in an image from the finder, but the delegates are never
called.

One poster said he had to override draggingUpdated to call draggingEntered
to get it to work. That makes no sense, but I might try it out of
desperation. Is the fact that it is in a popover, launched from a sheet,
relevant? Any ideas?
