Damned ACLs, Felix.
I’m starting a checklist of all the relevant file metadata that should be checked whenever a user’s system starts giving unexplained crap to one of my apps.
• POSIX permissions
• ACLs
• Flags (as in chflags)
• Extended Attributes (as in xattr)
Is this a complete list?
