It's not the location that bugs me, so much as that it never gets cleaned up. So the parent directory starts accumulating more and more of these empty "(Document being saved by XXX #nnn)" directories, because the old directory got left behind and a new one gets created on the next launch.

These aren't documents in that sense; they're attachments to database records in Couchbase Lite.
