Scattered NSProgress use

  • Subject: Scattered NSProgress use

The examples from the Mavericks Foundation notes (seen <https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/releasenotes/Foundation/RN-Foundation/#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP30000742-CH2-SW15 <https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/releasenotes/Foundation/RN-Foundation/#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP30000742-CH2-SW15>>) have the NSProgress object’s life cycle be within the example function. How is the model supposed to work when the action is scattered among several callback methods? We have to make sure that the automatic parent/nesting aspect doesn’t make sibling & cousin progress objects, whose actions will be interlaced, interfere with each other.
