It sure wasted a lot of my time, whatever you want to call it. Extremely annoying.
It's been so long since I used C++ that I had forgotten some programming environments rely on exceptions for flow control. I used to keep my Xcode debugger set to "All Objective-C Exceptions" all the time. I don't know how it got changed to "All Exceptions." A word to the wise.
