On 10.10?

This is a bug in the OS. They changed it so that it would interpolate pinch events to create a "smooth animation" of the zoom, but it doesn't work. The events arrive at 90 per second so the graphics can never keep up and the event queue just gets longer and longer.

Do file a radar though, the more dupes they get, the sooner it will be fixed (I assume, probably more hopefully than experience should allow) .
