I seem to remember one trick back in the old days, was to munge up your email address some thing like this email@hidden or some such and I seem to remember I had one dedicated email address for lists (or at least the Apple Lists). Not sure if that would work on this problem, depends on whether the auto reply thing is smart.

Actually thinking about it more, it could be an infected machine of a bona-fibe member.
