See, now that seems wrong. If the compiler can tell me about it, it should be declared that way somewhere, and maybe there are comments near that location to help explain what's going on (granted, any such comments should be in the message, but perhaps that's too unwieldy, and yet the message itself leaves something to be desired).

But it is what it is.
