I don't keep multiple versions of Xcode and in the past anytime I updated the currently installed version was overwritten as I expect.

When Xcode 7 was installed ( not the beta preview ) I expected the same behavior.

Seems like some kind of Apple glitch.

I restored version 6.2 from Time Machine and now the App Store shows Xcode 7 as an available update.

Does anyone know if Xcode 7 should show as version 7 in the Finder preview panel?
