Is there a solution where you segue from the tab view controller to a non-tab-view controller which has an identical view, aside from being a bit taller? You might have to embed the tab view controller in a parent controller to avoid messing up its place in the navigation hierarchy. Isn’t there a segue that will replace an embedded child controller with another one?
