Large "Data" support

[Binge-watching WWDC 2016 videos.]

For the Swift 3 "Data" type, if I want to represent a multi-gigabyte file, it won't try to do it all in memory, would it? Or would I have to manage a memory-mapped NSData and somehow connect it to a Data object?
