Popover arrow still doesn't point to UIBarButtonItem

It seems even as of iOS 9.2, the little arrow on a popover still doesn't point to the center of the UIBarButtonItem. Why is that? Is there anything I can do to fix it? This is being presented from a segue in a Storyboard.
