Can you have a helper scripts in a sandboxed app?

I’ve an app that uses a perl helper script. I’d like to sandbox the app but haven’t had any luck it getting it to work. Can it be done? If so can someone point me to some doc that might indicate how?

I've tried grabbing a security scoped bookmark to the perl script. Apparently that worked at one time, but not any more.

I’ve tried including the script in the app bundle... doesn’t help as the script isn’t signed and I’ve not come up with the magic signing invocation that does the job I need.

Thanks for any pointers.

Marc
