To remove OS Control Strip touchbar

Hi All,
Can anyone please guide me how to remove the OS control strip
touchbar while displaying fly out touchbar of NSPopover.TouchbarItem.
Just like when we click on ColorPickerItem, it opens the flyout touchbar on
entire touchbar hardware. It removes the OS control strip touchbar for the
time being. I want to do the same, when I click on my popoverItem, it
should show the fly out touchbar by occupying the full space of touchbar
hardware.
