No, you are misunderstanding scertain concepts here... the workingspace is
the source space of the conversion; the monitor profile is used for nothing
except viewing.. If you do a convert to profile you have changed the numbers
to be accurate in a differently defined workingspace, where as simply
assinging a profile does not correct the numbers for the new space, and so
should only be used in special situations.
