Hi:
I have a Epson Stylus Color 3000 (to proof) and a Agfa Avantra and Rip (film
printer).
In ColorSync 3 control panel I can set some profiles to any hard, but the
last two... I select Epson Stylus for Proof and CMYK Standard to print in a
imagesetter.
---QUESTION-----
But, how mac knows to take the profile when I send to print?
Only a change selector to choose printer.
-----------------
My job from beginning to end are: Scanning with a profile. When I open this
scanned image in Photoshop 5.5, I select scanner input profile and a
conversion to RGB monitor with compensate monitor profile. Ok, image has now
a RGB profile. In
preferences, in CMYK settings I have selectioned in CMYK
model --> ICC and a profile of my web printer. Back in Photoshop and scanned
image, I retouching image and ends, I convert to CMYK space. I save image in
Tiff with my web printer profile. Then, in QuarkXpress 3.32 I place image
and send to printer film (Rip and Agfa Avantra).
More Questions:
* All the work flow are correct or some place are bad step.
* QuarkXpress 3.32 not support ICC profiles but, when I send to film a image
with profile, profile works well or Quark must support this feature like
version 4
* Any tip is wellcome.
Thanks.
