Back in the good ol' days when I was learning about B&W photography, I found
myself spending a lot of time trying various films and developer
combinations, and deciding if I preferred sharp grain with accutance, or
soft grain with smooth tonality. Then trying different paper and developer
combinations, then toners. I liked it, but often times I'd look at some
acquaintance using his Plus-X and D-76, and using his Kodak paper and Dektol
developer, all just like they learned in photography 101. They were making
wonderful images and breezing along, and I had a certain envy of their
simplicity.

Now you want to take my CCs away from me and have me learn a new language,
and a new set of tools. I want my Mommy to beat you up, and I need a dose of
CCs in my arm.

Thanks for being a great teacher,
Todd
