I have been wondering as well why a verification of my monitors calibration
using a Minolta color meter always fails:
Iiyama Vision Master 21", Hitachi tube, calibrated with Sequel puck and
Colorblind Prove it! to 6500K gamma 1.8.
For a white document (Simple Text window) Minolta color meter measured
values range from 5600 to 5800K.
This result raises the question, are these el-cheapo calibrators that bad,
or is perhaps the Minolta color meter not able to accurately measure a
computer screen?
