True, the most recent versions of ProfilerRGB no longer create CMYK profiles
as well; but if he is only going to apply his profiles in Photoshop then an
RGB profile might do the trick... so if he is getting ProfilerRGB anyhow for
the Epson 3000, he could see what it will do for his Rainbow before buying
anything else.
