The DC target is certainly my first choice, but I've just starting to gather
up software for this set of tests, and I'm not yet sure if all of them will
support the DC target, or for that matter will support high bit profiling. If
it works like scanners, it will be possible to apply an 8 bit profile to a
high bit file, but it may still be inconvenient to build a profile if the
software will not accept high bit files of the target capture.
