I havn4t worked with the instrument itself, but had a talk about it with Karl Koch
from Color Solutions Europe. He plannend to buy one ,to make his own transmissive
IT-8 Targets and Reference Data. It is the only instrument I know, which is able
to make automatic xy-measurements from slides.
Karl told me, that individual measured reference-files gave much better
scanner-profiles, compared to the standard AGFA, Kodak, FUJI-sets.
As Karl Koch is supporting mainly ColorBlind in Germany I think there should be a
driver for ColorBlind. When I remember right, there is also built-in support in
Print-Open.
I hope Karl has time to read the list, and give some more informations. If you
don4t have the e-mail adress from Karl Koch, please contact me offline of the
list. I will bring you together.
:-) Jan-Peter
