Well I think you are dealing with two possibilities.
1) Illegal characters in the internal name of the profile (or one of
it's neighbors). You can rename the profile with Apple's rename
profile Applescript or our ColorThink software - ColorThink will also
show you which profiles have illegal characters.
2) Corrupt ColorSync cache file - as you are using the profile inside
PS, this probably isn't it. Just the same, you can delete the
ColorSync Cache file (in preferences) and it will be rebuilt as
needed.
