If the letters are Postscript fonts at 100% black you could try printing
them out on normal paper as PR prints type at 100% K ( not three colour ) at
only this media setting. The keep black box in the Compass Pro preferences
won't do any thing as PR only prints type as overprinting black at any other
setting than plain paper.
Also check to see that in the print dialogue box that you include the fonts.
Otherwise it is a HP driver issue.
