I am working with a customer to get the various devices in their shop
profiled. The one device I have a question about is their Polaroid
SprintScan 4000 slide scanner. I know a number of slide scanners do some
automatic image processing/adjustment and that makes it near impossible to
get a good profile for the device. Is this such a scanner? I have updated
the firmware to vs. 1.30 and we are using Polaroid PolaColor Insight, vs 4.5
and Photoshop 6. The intent will be to use Monaco EZColor 1.5 with a Kodak
35mm transmissive target to profile the slide scanner.
Anyone else using this scanner? Hints for best use?
