Eric -

TIFFRGB is a SPAC (space) class profile, which can not be accessed through PM. It is a very good profile for many working space uses. The mail drawback is its 1.8 gamma, which tends to desaturate parts of the image. In other words it produces great portraiture, but lousy saturated blue skies.

I think that savvy users will find that PS 6 allows them to use one space for the destination from scanner profiles and a gamma-specific space as the origin for output conditions. (portrait, commercial, blends, etc).
