In response to my question on "TIFF RGB in PS6 as Working Space" Neil Snape

"Eric tiff rgb is a 3d space profile thus your other spaces listed are matrix
profiles. It could provide adequate range for separations performed at
remote locations for those not too gamut hungry. Stone images, Photodisc and
other Getty owned image banks have archived into this space. Personally I
find it much too small as it clips out cyan's. Will provide smoother
transitions if there are any strong corrections to make."
I guess that goes for StandardRGB that ships with LinoColor 6.x as well.
Hummm... I wonder if Joe Holmes is planning on releasing a 3d version of
EctaSpace for Photoshop 6. (Seems too large for most CMYK transformations
in 8-bit) I am assuming that LinoColor scans in 16 bit lab and saves out
to 8-bit Lab, RGB, or CMYK. Finding/creating a 3d RGB working space that
was just a bit larger than most "Normal" CMYK working spaces would be ideal
for archiving and multipurposing to CMYK. Dig?
Neil, what current RGB workingspace do you reccomend for archiving s3400
transpearancy scans for CMYK multipurposing?
