IMHO I believe that when editing a profile that it is generally best to use color tools that you are familar with and if you can buy into that this means to use some type of Photoshop plugin for profile editing. That way you can take advantage not having to learn new color tools. I find this is a practical strategy for most end-users.

There are two brands of Photoshop profile editor plugins, that I know of in this category. Kodak ICC Colorflow ( I think this is a Mac only app) and Doctor Pro from Colorvision (this works on both Macs and Windows). This is my personal favortie.

Now having said that and if you are an expert and dont mind learning a new color correction tool there is ColorBlind edit. This tool offers more selective color correction control.

Best Regards
