List Archives now available

I'm happy to announce that the archives for this mailing list are now available.

There are two sets of archives: we have a web-based archive that keeps the previous 90 days of messages, and allows you to access them sorted by date, and in a threaded format. We also have a complete text archive of all messages available.

To access the web-based archives, use:

http://www.lists.apple.com/mhonarc/colorsync-users

to access the text archives, use:

http://www.lists.apple.com/archives/colorsync-users

To protect the list archives from spam address harvesting bots, we have placed the archives behind a password. You should use account "archives", password "archives" to access the archives.

We will be changing the access passwords on a regular basis to protect the archives. You can always get the current password from the list information page at:

http://www.lists.apple.com/mailman/listinfo/colorsync-users

which is where you also update your subscription, unsubscribe or get information about the list.

Sorry it took so long to get the archives back online, but the archives are almost 26,000 files, and beating that much data into shape takes time.

We do not yet have a way to search the archives. I'm going to start working on that shortly.

Chuq
