TIFF vs EPS

  • Subject: TIFF vs EPS

Greetings,
I requested that our service bureau begin to save our files in the
TIFF format instead of the EPS format. From what I gathered
from this list, the TIFF format better supports color profiles. They
responded that there is no difference between EPS and TIFF and
that TIFFs are 10 times larger than EPS files. That does not
sound right. Can anyone give me some advice on which format
is preferred and why?

Thank You,
Lee
