Ouch yeah that sounds strange. I had VO4 in front of me but for the sake of
brevity I calibrated and profiled with ProveIt! I prefer to profile to D65
for many reasons that are in Bruce Fraser's book and it makes for a better
match to 5000K Just Normlicht boxes. So I used preset 2 tweaked the blue gun
+2 points and had a white of 6495 and calibrated. Very straight gamma curves
no tweaks necessary. Profile and presto. Next week I'll try to get the rest
of the equipment up to par. It's unfortunate that they didn't have the
manual written by someone who not only understands the intent of the
engineers but who could convey a logical detailed approach to achieving the
desired end result. Maybe next time?
Thanks for the OSD info . I'll say more after I do some calibrations
with SO+Vo 4.
