"Calibrating the system on a regular basis should help produce consistent
results. We used to have a service where we made custom profiles for our
servers that would emulate the offset press. However, Splash has been
purchased by EFI and most of the original Splash personnel have been
terminated, including the individual who make the custom profiles.
You can not use an ICC profile with the Dc40 and Splash. The Splash product
that does accept ICC profiles is the G620 which attaches to a Xerox
Docucolor 12 copier. This product is not meant for the high volume printing
that DC40 produces but has more robust color correction and color tuning
features."
Anyone out there able to convert an ICC profile to Splash's proprietary
profile and want to earn some cash and big smiles?
