True, but I'm pleased with mine. (It seemed a reasonable
price--especially since other places I found that sold hoods on the net
charged up to $100 US or more for one). I'm using it on a Mitsubishi
Diamond Pro 2040u. I went for the Deluxe model which is the same as the
standard model (both are made from black corrugated plastic) except it
looks a little spiffier with plastic molding around the edges. You
basically stick to hood on with the double sided adhesive tape that
comes attached to the hood. Pretty simple but effective design.
