There are a lot more options for building a profile (CMYK) in ProfileMaker
Pro. You get all the modules too (like the measure tool, ProfileEditor,
iQueue). Now I'm told you can purchase these modules separately. There is no
reason why you couldn't use the useful statistical tools in Measure Tool
with the EyeOne stuff. Like ProfileMaker Pro, you can save out the spectral
readings (and reload them in EyeOne again). The ProfileEditor can be
purchased if you need that as well. I suspect by the time you buy all the
separate modules ala carte you'd be better off just getting ProfileMaker as
a package. But if you only want one module, it will work within the EyeOne
world. I would think some people would want the MeasureTool for profile
averaging and stats and I expect in the foreseeable future you'll see
support for the EyeOne instrument in that module (as well as ProfileMaker).
The EyeOne software is a wizard based product so it's aimed at an audience
that might find ProfileMaker a bit intimidating.
