There is a problem with monitor profile in QXP 4.11. If I setup
monitor profile in Quark to profile of screen connected to computer
running Quark I suppose that information from this profile Quark will
use to calculate for page objects correct RGB values to send to video
card. Isn't it?
Yes, that's the general idea, with some exceptions, though.
But if I save this document and try to open on another computer, with
different monitor, with different profile of this monitor, the second
Quark will rewrite the monitor setup with monitor profile of document
from first machine. Way?
Way have the documents the monitor profiles enclosed?
It's just Quark's idea of portability. What it tries to do is tell
you about all the profiles needed for the document to have the same
look and feel on one computer as on another. But the monitor profile
should be left to the system to set, it doesn't make sense to include
it in the sense.
