The Ekta space is larger than any Ektachrome or Fujichrome that I have
scanned with any scanner. That means if a perceptual table is used,
one conceivably might be expanding the original to the larger space. As
Photoshop 6 now recognizes LUT profiles as working spaces, you
might contact Joe Holmes for a second space he has developed. This
might better maintain the integrity of the original data. I have a smaller
space, which uses a matrix to cover the largest PMT or CCD based
scans that I have been able to produce. Please contact me directly for
that space.
I think that the software guys should be considering colorimetric
support for their input profiles. This is a good opportunity for those who
already have that option to jump in and say so.

Wonder how the gamut of the Flextight space compares to Ekta Space.
