"We know color from A to Z"
Andy,
You mentioned the 'new release' of the Mach 1 Rip, what version are you
speaking of ?
I was sent version one by PraxiSoft a couple of months ago.
I was comparing it to the BEST XXL, and the Mach 1 Rip seemed to have no
support for running as an AppleTalk Print Server and it also did not seem to
have any ability to define to densities and/or total ink limits BEFORE
profiling, as BEST does.
I am interested in the raster and vector elements theory, as isn't the goal
of these rips to simulate the output of another device (analog proof or
printing method) and not to get the 'best' poster output from the file ?
Also, I would be interested in when you saw a rip "loose track of its dongle
or blow up the server".
Finally, it's good to see that if someone wants more information on this
wonderful product, they can get it from your company . . .
Darrin.
