True, if you already have some software. If not, there are not many products
that will get you input, display (including LCD if you so desire), output
and virtually unlimited seats (using the instrument as the hardware
protection device) for $1500. As for CompassProfile, you'll have to hope
that there will be support for the Eye-One...

Actually it's solid gold. This produces a much better profile. OK, the real
price difference is for the software.The $600 Eye-One can't read reflective.
The $1500 and $3000 packages use the same hardware but the money you pay is
for the software.
