coming from this inexperienced user, I am satisfied with the peformance of
my electron blue. It doesn't have individually adjustable rgb guns,
although I believe the 21 inch does. Also, the mitsubishi diamond pro I
believe is the same monitor sans the blue box. Could be cheaper.
I don't think anyone on this list would recommend the electron blue
calibrator. I have been using the colorvision spyder and after some
experimenting and numerous posts to this list, I think I'm looking at a
reasonably calibrated monitor. I'm not sure that I will ever know because
mostly it will be used in a closed loop with some profiled and not profiled
epson printers.
I will harp on a point about getting a good proofing light setup because the
monitor is not really of any use for your own output if you are comparing
prints in bad light.
