I finally got a chance to see the RIPs for the first time last week... Both
are similar in form and function to the EX2000 (and Fiery's other new
generation RIPs too, I'm sure).
Have either of you had a chance to test drive the Ricoh Aficio 6513
w/E-710 (Fiery x3?) and compare it to the Doc12? We're looking into
it and it's too new for basic websearch...

Both Fiery's come with ICC/ICM Profile Manager, a decent RIP-based color

you'd better like it (Thanks, Fiery)! Although the canned profiles that come
with the Fiery are very good for that machine, you're still best off making
your custom profiles using software from your favorite third-party Color
Management vendor.
I note the E-700 Print Controller (Fiery x3?) has AutoCal2 with the
full package of Colorwise Pro Tools including Color Editor. No
listing as yet on the E-710. Anyone know if the full package is also
included in the E-710?
