RGB Working Spaces

Hi everyone
Yes, I'm new to the group. My question has probably been asked 16.7 million
times already, but could someone tell me or direct me to information about
choosing RGB Working Spaces in Photoshop? I'm looking for a comparative.
Which is best for inkjet dye-based, inkjet pigment ink- based, dye-sub, web,
etc? What are the variables to consider: Scanner model, Mac vs. Win,
printer, media, type of images, etc? Does it really matter anyway?

Now the next question is the same for Illustrator, InDesign, Freehand, etc.

And lastly, are web browsers ICC savvy?

Thanks
David Vanderlip
