a. the color picker for RGB requires percentages and not channel values, and

b. the color picker for Lab requires percentages and not channel values.

I'm past caring that XPress doesn't export Lab to PostScript, only deviceRGB and deviceCMYK.

If we can't spec custom colors the same way in an application, it's time to chuck it. The concept these days is that we can spec colors in device values (RGB color pickers) and in device independent values (Lab color pickers).

Get with the program or get out -:).
