Thought I would add a few ICC notes on PM7 while I try to get it up
and running: for your amusement.
Can't get PM7 to boot: G4/450hz/640mbRAM/OS9.0.4; all other Adobe
apps (PM6.5, PS6, PS5.5, Acro4.0.5, Acro5.0) work fine...even on
simultaneously.
As I read through the ReadMe's I note all references to OS are to
8.6, 9.1, and X.
In Acrobat and AdobePS installer texts the references are to OS 8.6
through OS9.1 in native mode. Does PM7 have a problem with 9.0 or
9.0.4?

This is a reference to ICC Format Version. Most common users wouldn't
know one version from the other unless they also knew about the
Applescript: ShowProfileInfo, or ColorShop's CS Demo or other
app/utility which allows such a filespec. So I assume 'does not
support' means 'will not show up in menu.' But does it mean it will
balk at v3.0 profiles embedded in other objects?

Nice to see they put that one up front (Page5, Readme.pdf).
Seeing as how I was told to check out the updated ColorSync support
features, and seeing as how I was told to do a comparison on the new
Pantone tables, and seeing as how I can't get it up and running but
am finding out these details on the way, the whole exploration hasn't
been a complete waste of time. I'll repost any solutions and
eccentricities I come across along the way.
