well...
There are many differences between PressReady and the Mach1.
PressReady is (was) intended as a low-cost single-user RIP solution
for designers, photographers, etc
The Mach1 is Windows-based, considerably higher power, supports many
professional-level printers and has all the color smarts of ICC
Autoflow tacked on the front end. The price tag is also considerably
different. I would suggest you look into the Mach1 more to see if it
has the sort of features you might need.
As for the profiling solution, how could I disagree? <g> Seriously,
getting into the Mach1 level you may want to invest in the tools to
calibrate & profile yourself. You can also look at this as a growth
path as many customers do and invest in them a little further down
the road..
