Wow,
I've been reading all of the messages over the last few months trying to
learn all about color management. But, I'm even more confused as I read
each days messages. There doesn't seem to be any agreement to just about
anything. Everyone seems to be talking another language. Where did you
guys learn about all this stuff. I feel like I need a degree in color
physics to read some of these entries.
I'm I missing something? Is there a book I can read, so I don't bother the
group with the 8000 questions I have? From the questions from others, I
get the sense I'm not the only one who's confused, frustrated, and
desperate.
Please help!
PS Here's some back ground info on us. We've been running a digital photo
lab for 2 years using G4s, PS6, ID 1.5, AI 9, Imacon PII, LS-2000, 2100XL,
Epson 7500, 9000, 2000p, 1270, 1160 quadtone. All was good until we added
the 7500 and 2000p. These two items, our most requested of course, are the
ones needing profiling and precision color management. We thought we knew
what we were doing until now...
Thanks
David
