There are a few gaps in this Andrew. Did you use the two hundred and some odd
patch EyeOne target for this testing, or a full version of ProfileMaker with
more patches? Liniar devices wouldn't much mind which, but the limited
patches will jump up and bit you on nonliniar device profiling. Another
question would have to do with difficult inks and media: highly whitened
papers and metameric inks, which might show differences where the well
mannered combinations did not. I'd suggest trying the EyeOne on an Epson
2000p, on highly whitened paper, with the 200 patch software that comes with
it, that might show a few issues that other combos missed.
