The Fuji Frontier has a base configuration with no ICC support. That
is, it offers a scan-to-print minilab function with proprietary
algorithms.
The upgrade component called PicPro is a front end to the printer for
managing jobs. It does support ICC and profile options are fully user
selectable. In other words, any set of input, working space or output
profiles are supported.
In addition, one can manage other printers with full ICC
functionality. While I have not set up a Pic Pro to do this, a Queue
can be set up to scan chromes on the Frontier, convert using a custom
profile, and then output on a Lambda/Lightjet/Chromira or any other
image-based printer.
If you are sending work to the Frontier at Costco, chances are they
are using defaults. The printer is more interested in 0 to 255 and
will not likely even parse the embedded profile. If the scans came
from the Frontier input, then they should do a good job on output. If
they came from another scanner, they will need more contrast and
saturation to compensate for the flatter printing unit in the
Frontier.

space? Does it matter?
It's output space is sRGB so convert to that and send it through...
