DCS is not supported directly, i.e. you cannot drop a DCS file onto the rip, but if you print it as separated PS from
Quark and the like, then yes you can print CMYK + up to 16 (I believe) spot color channels. Which particular spot
color it is doesn't matter, as long as it is defined in one of the provided rip-internal Pantone tables (only for some
supported HP media). Pantone 485CVC should be no problem.

Yes. Note that it really converts to CMYKcm, although the tables generate CMYK and the additional separation to CMYKcm
happens post-rip.
